This January 2013 , the US Figure Skating Association celebrated its 10th anniversary of “National Skating Month”. This program is an opportunity for ice skating rinks to alert the public at large to the wonderful world of ice skating.
To mark this occasion, PSCHS opened its doors to families of the surrounding communities and invited them to skate at one of our Sunday family sessions. Attendees were privey to free admission, free skate rental, a mini on ice lesson and refreshments. Information about our public programs as well as our membership programs was presented at this time.
Thank you to all of those who attended and the numerous volunteers that helped us celebrate “SKATING” !!!
