ATTENTION SKATERS:

We have updated and revised our Covid-19 Questionnaire and Waiver for the Winter skating season.  Please be advised that ALL skaters must complete this questionnaire and waiver prior to arriving at the Club to skate.  The waivers are good for two weeks and a new questionnaire and waiver MUST be submitted every two weeks.

WINTER SEASON begins November 1, 2020 thru April 25, 2021

Please be advised that you will need to be a member of PSCHS to skate during our Winter Season.  For more information on Membership please click here. We have multiple skating plans designed to fit your skating needs.

Just a few reminders:

  • Skate Shop, by appointment only. Please call the Office at 610-642-8700
  • NO public skating sessions and NO skate rental
  • All skaters, coaches, parents, employees and visitors must follow posted social distancing guidelines and rink safety procedures and also sign our MANDATORY WAIVER, we will continue to require that waivers be updated every two weeks.

At the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society, America’s first skating club, our mission is to preserve and promote the sport, art and history of figure skating for recreation and competition. We offer skating programs for everyone, including public skating on Friday nights, group lessons through Learn to Skate USA, and membership packages for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Learn to Skate

Ice skating is not only fun, it’s good exercise and builds confidence too! We offer group lessons for all ages from tots to teens to adults. Whether you want to skate recreationally or aspire to competitive skating, we have a class for you. Lessons are taught by our professional and passionate staff coaches and follow the Learn to Skate USA curriculum. Classes meet weekly for 60 minutes and include 30 minutes of group instruction and 30 minutes of practice ice. Registration fee includes skate rental, membership in Learn Skate USA and certificate upon course completion. Register today!

The Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society is the nation’s oldest skating club. For more than 150 years, we’ve been providing a community for people who love to skate.
Whether you’re a beginner, recreational, or competitive skater, we welcome you to our club. We offer Learn to Skate USA group lessons, public skating and memberships in our member-owned ice skating rink in Ardmore, Pennsylvania–only minutes outside of downtown Philadelphia.
