PSC&HS  2020 Fall Session 

We are pleased to be able to offer Fall Ice starting September 8 – October 31  2020 Fall Ice Schedule

  • Limited Slots Available:  Pre-Registered sessions only via this link…Sign Up Genius
  • $15 for members (charged to club account)  $20 for nonmembers (call office, prepayment required).
  • Skate Shop, by appointment only.
  • All sessions are “mixed” level – 12 skater max/session to allow for cooperative sharing of ice (exception 10:20 am Adults).
  • Skaters and Coaches may not enter the Club earlier than 15 minutes before session start time and must leave within 10 minutes of end o session.
  • No walk ins, no splitting sessions.
  • Any session(s) not cancelled prior to 24hrs before start, will be charged.
  • All skaters, coaches, parents, and employees must follow posted social distancing guidelines and rink safety procedures. Please familiarize yourself and all skaters with these procedures before booking ice. Click here.
  • Our Mandatory Waiver is now attached via a link at the end of your registration on Sign Up Genius or connect directly here. We will continue to require that waivers be updated every two weeks.




Learn to Skate 8 week WINTER 1 Session


At the Philadelphia Skating Club and Humane Society, America’s first skating club, our mission is to preserve and promote the sport, art and history of figure skating for recreation and competition. We offer skating programs for everyone, including public skating on Friday nights, group lessons through Learn to Skate USA, and membership packages for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Learn to Skate

Ice skating is not only fun, it’s good exercise and builds confidence too! We offer group lessons for all ages from tots to teens to adults. Whether you want to skate recreationally or aspire to competitive skating, we have a class for you. Lessons are taught by our professional and passionate staff coaches and follow the Learn to Skate USA curriculum. Classes meet weekly for 60 minutes and include 30 minutes of group instruction and 30 minutes of practice ice. Registration fee includes skate rental, membership in Learn Skate USA and certificate upon course completion. Register today!


The Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society is the nation’s oldest skating club. For more than 150 years, we’ve been providing a community for people who love to skate.
Whether you’re a beginner, recreational, or competitive skater, we welcome you to our club. We offer Learn to Skate USA group lessons, public skating and memberships in our member-owned ice skating rink in Ardmore, Pennsylvania–only minutes outside of downtown Philadelphia.
