Challenge Cup is PSCHS’s annual competition.
The 2025 Challenge Cup is part of the 2025-2026 National Qualifying Series (NQS) for ice dance. Athletes competing in ice dance can enter the qualifying structure for the chance to earn a spot at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
In addition to personal medals, each year the Challenge Cup is presented to the U.S. Figure Skating Club which receives the most points from their respective club members finishing first through fourth place in events.
The Robert Horen Dance Trophy is awarded to the winners of the Junior Free Dance event.

The Association of Philadelphia Area Figure Skating Clubs is an organization that has been in existence since 1935, when at that time it awarded its first trophy at a competition between member clubs.
This long-standing association of figure skating clubs in the greater Philadelphia Area and within a 110-mile radius of City Hall, was formalized in 1965 with the adoption of its first by-laws.
